What is a cubedraft?
In a normal draft, you don't bring a deck to play, but receive three boosters on site. You gradually take one card from each booster and pass the others on to the next player, thus gradually building up the card pool from which you will then build your deck:

Normally 40-card decks are played.
The difference with Cubedraft(mtg.wiki/page/Cube_Draft) is that the boosters are not a sealed, new product, but are compiled from a fixed list of cards. This allows you to vary certain themes and power levels and also play with cards that are otherwise not played so often.

We draft 1-2 twice a month on Sundays from 17:00. The venue is the John BarleycornHeerstraße 52, 53111 Bonn.

There is a central WhatsApp group that you can join. Dates, cubes played and all organizational matters are arranged there. There are also queries for the individual dates so that it is clear what is happening when.

This is decided individually, but there is plenty of variety. On the one hand, there are of course many different cube lists that you can play (from Pauper to Vintage or even themed cubes), but the lists themselves often change over time to keep the format up to date.
If you have your own cube and would like to bring it along, you are welcome to suggest this to the group.
Who are we? What should you know?
The group currently consists of "rather experienced" players, but newcomers to cubedrafting are also welcome. Your first game of Magic in life should perhaps not be a cubedraft, but people who have already drafted before will also enjoy this format and are welcome to take a look and play along.
What accessories do I need to bring?
In principle, you don't have to bring anything with you.
If you want to be well prepared, it is a good idea to have the following things with you:

The drafts themselves are free of charge.
The following applies to our venue: it is a gastronomic establishment that lives from the fact that people buy food and drinks there. Nobody is forced to consume a certain amount, but we as a group can only be there permanently if it is desirable for the store to have us there. So consume plenty:)
