Competitive Commander (cEDH)

We, the Bonn cEDH community, organize private and public play dates, host our own cEDH tournaments and attend tournaments together at home and abroad. As a community, we are internationally networked and in regular contact with other cEDH players.

Another aspect of our get-together is the joint development of our decks. We delve deep into the material in order to achieve the highest possible card quality in the decks.

This community has developed into an open circle of friends and there are also activities outside the game.

Interested parties are very welcome!

There is the opportunity to play cEDH with us several times a week. There are no fixed dates. We usually organize ourselves on a weekly basis in our public WhatsApp group, which can be found via the "Magic in Bonn Community".

Most play dates take place in private venues. However, if there are a large number of participants, we also meet at Animany, Remigiuspl. 1, 53111 Bonn, in Bonn city center.

It is generally advisable for cEDH to "commit" to a deck in order to gain the necessary in-depth understanding. For newcomers in particular, however, it can be difficult to recognize from the outside which deck follows which game plan. In our group (and in cEDH in general), it is not a problem to play with playtest cards. This means that anyone can play with us - regardless of their financial means. The principle is: "We want to play against your skills, not against your wallet!".

There are several decks within the community that consist of playtest cards and are also rather beginner-friendly. These are gladly lent out by our fellow players!

cEDH is only partially a suitable format for getting started with Magic: The Gathering. You don't have to be a professional judge, but a basic understanding of the rules is recommended.
