What is Commander?
Commander is a format that is particularly popular with casual players and is often played with several players (multiplayer). It uses 100-card decks (including a commander) in which each card can only be used once. The vast majority of cards from the history of the game are available:

This offer of a private regulars' table helps the many isolated Commander players and groups in Bonn to network and get to know each other better and also to offer players without a fixed playgroup a contact point to find new fellow players. Everyone is welcome, whether newcomers or experienced players. However, the focus is on having fun rather than winning with decks that are as competitive as possible. We currently have around 20-35 players per session.

To reserve places, please let us know in advance if you would like to play, ideally 1-2 days in advance. This is done via emoji reaction in the WA group.

Normally you bring your own deck(s). However, we will always try to have loaner decks in the different power levels so that you can participate even without your own deck. If you already have your own cards but are not sure what to play, we will also be happy to help you build your deck.
In addition, the Stammtisch is intended to provide an opportunity to talk about collections, open up new swap opportunities, or simply show off your favorite Keep folder, because that's why you collect ;O)
Who is this Dennis?
Hi, I'm Dennis, born in 1994 and I've been playing Magic for almost 20 years. Like most people, I started with "kitchentable-magic" and then ended up in modern and legacy via mirrodin. Now I play Commander almost exclusively. I love playing the format, but I love building decks and digging through collections even more.
I work in the social sector and am happy about every new player :-)
And what else?
Dim Sum is a gastronomic establishment where food and drinks can be purchased. There is a minimum consumption of two drinks, but also very tasty food(menu).
Otherwise the event is free of charge.
Animany charges EUR 9 for the evening, which includes (apart from the premises) a drink and a (standard) booster.

Where, when and what?
The store is located at Rathausstraße 2, 53225 Bonn-Beuel.
The Commander round currently takes place on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

Geek Haven, a friendly local game store, offers a wide range of games and accessories, with trading cards taking a special place. The owner attaches great importance to taking demand seriously and plans to further expand the range as interest grows.
There are currently two regular gaming days in the store: Every Tuesday a Commander round meets for casual play, while on Fridays a draft event takes place at Friday Night Magic.

The store promotes community development via its own Discord server, which supports the exchange between players and serves as a platform for announcements.

The store offers a membership that allows players to make more intensive use of the community. Members have access to a games area in the basement, benefit from discounted event participation and can play freely in the store at any time. Two prices are therefore always shown on the events page: the normal price and a reduced price for members.
For all participants in Constructed events: No proxy cards may be used!
The store only accepts card payments, cash is not accepted.
The house rules also include the fact that no food may be consumed in the store and, similar to a café, no drinks may be brought in. However, soft drinks, water, coffee and small snacks are offered at fair prices.
